Working template

Influencer brief checklist

A useful brief turns expectations into criteria both creators and reviewers can check. Copy this template, replace the examples and agree on the rules before sending the campaign.

1. Context and deliverables

Objective: introduce [product] to [audience]. Channel: [TikTok/Reels/Shorts]. Format: [duration and aspect ratio]. Delivery: [link, date and approval owner]. Track deadlines and usage rights separately: watching a video cannot establish contractual compliance.

2. Checkable content rules

Product: show readable packaging and name for [duration]. Speech: mention [approved benefit] and pronounce [name]. On-screen text: include [exact phrase]. Caption: include [mention], [hashtag] and [CTA]. Avoid: [prohibited claim or image]. Replace vague requests such as “highlight the product” with observable conditions.

3. A filled example to adapt

Fictional campaign: a reusable bottle launch. Show the whole bottle; say “750 ml capacity”; include “Find the colors on our brand profile” in the caption; do not promise health benefits. For every rule, record whether it is mandatory, expected evidence and who resolves uncertainty.

4. Copy this approval spreadsheet structure

Columns: video link | rule | mandatory? | pass/fail/unverifiable | evidence and timestamp | requested change | owner | new version. Use one row per rule and video. Do not approve requirements you could not observe.

5. From review to report

Review one video first and clarify ambiguous rules. In OnBriefing, create a campaign, add the brief and submit a supported video link. Compare the report with your own review and inspect inconclusive findings before deciding. Try the workflow with 10 free videos.
