Terms of service

Last updated 11/6/26

These terms govern your use of onbriefing.com and the OnBriefing platform, including through the API and connected AI assistants. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and to our privacy policy (onbriefing.com/privacy). If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

The service

OnBriefing checks videos published by creators (TikTok, Instagram and YouTube) against a campaign brief and returns a report with one result per rule — met, not met, or not verifiable from the video — along with the evidence it found.

Reports are produced with the help of artificial intelligence models and are meant to support your team's decision. They can contain mistakes, such as evidence at the wrong moment of the video or a misread rule. Approving or rejecting content, paying a creator and any action against them are your decisions. Review the evidence before deciding.

OnBriefing is not legal advice and does not certify compliance with laws, advertising standards or platform rules.

Your account

  • You are responsible for the information you provide at sign-up, for keeping your password, API keys and AI assistant connections secure, and for everything done with them.
  • Tell us through the contact form if you suspect unauthorized access.

Credits, plans and payment

  • Each analysis uses credits: 1 credit per minute of video, rounded up. Usage is shown in your account statement.
  • The free trial includes a limited number of complimentary videos and may be changed or discontinued for new accounts at any time.
  • Plans are monthly subscriptions, billed in advance through Stripe and renewed automatically. Plan credits are valid until renewal and do not roll over. Extra credits bought separately do not expire while the account exists.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period already paid. You can cancel from your account at any time.
  • If an analysis fails without producing a report, its credits are returned to your account automatically. Amounts already paid are not refunded, except where required by law or in case of an incorrect charge.
  • If a payment is declined, plan credits stop renewing until it is resolved; once billing retries run out, the subscription is canceled.
  • Prices may change. Changes apply from the next renewal and are announced in advance by email.

Content you submit

  • You keep all rights to the briefs, campaigns and reports in your account. You grant us only the license needed to process them and provide the service.
  • Only submit links to published videos you have a legitimate reason to analyze, such as content commissioned by your company or your clients. The video is downloaded only for the analysis and discarded afterwards, as described in the privacy policy.
  • You are responsible for the brief and for having a legal basis to process any creator data it or the videos contain.

Prohibited use

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, telling you why whenever possible.

  • Using the service to monitor, harass or expose people, or to analyze content unrelated to campaigns or partnerships.
  • Circumventing usage limits, credits or security measures, or accessing other customers' accounts or data.
  • Reverse engineering the service, reselling it without a written agreement, or using it to train competing models.
  • Submitting illegal content or content that infringes third-party rights.

API and AI assistants

  • Use of the API is subject to these terms and the public documentation, including rate limits.
  • When you connect OnBriefing to an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, you authorize the assistant to act on your account within what the authorization screen shows, including submitting videos that use credits. The assistant asks for your confirmation before those submissions, but the connection and how it is used are your responsibility. You can disconnect it at any time in Settings → Connected apps.
  • Assistants are third-party services with their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for how they work.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available, but it depends on third parties such as video platforms and AI providers, and may be unavailable or unable to access a video. In those cases, the credits for an analysis without a report are returned.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits or for decisions made on reports without human review. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account and delete your data through the contact form. Unused credits are not exchanged for money, except where required by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the platform at least 15 days in advance; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Questions: the contact form on the site.
